allAfrica.com: Nigeria: States Are Frustrating Anti-Corruption War – Waziri (Page 1 of 1)

Abuja/Kaduna — Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Farida Waziri, has raised alarm over the clandestine efforts of some states in the country to sabotage the anti-corruption war.

Also, Mrs Waziri yesterday attributed the high level of corruption among public officers to some form of “obsessive-compulsive psychiatric disorder.”

In the same vein, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has bemoaned the state of insecurity and corruption, saying it remains the bane of development in Nigeria, 49 years after independence.
